Company Stability.
The joint venture partners of DFT (SIS, formerly Sick Optik and Sira) have been building systems for over 20 years. All companies are stable and profitable. In contrast, most of the other inspection companies have experienced severe financial distress during this period and many have been sold or ceased to exist.

Generation of functional specification.
Only DFT provides a draft functional specification, based upon vast applications experience. This spec is provided in hard and soft copy form for circulation, review and editing by the customer. It is important to capture all the needs of the operators, manufacturing managers, QA, process engineering and management. The functional spec serves that end: Customers define their needs and DFT builds a system against those needs. 

Post warranty service.
Contracts must be available. Comply. A number of service contract options will be presented prior to the expiration of the twelve-month warranty.

Operation in difficult environments.
Systems can be equipped with air conditioning or purge ports. Long term, reliable operation in difficult environments (steel, aluminum, glass, paper) has been achieved.
