CPV and CSP technologies depend upon highly reflective surfaces (flat, parabolic and troughs) which direct the sun’s rays to a specified area. Mirrors or reflective metal coil must be inspected for flatness, contour and surface defects to ensure that the path of the sun’s rays are reflected properly, at the specified levels. NxtGenTM systems are used for raw glass inspection (defect detection, warp and contour measurement), detection of mirroring defects, polishing/coating defects (troughs) and flatness checking of final mirror assemblies
