Warp and Contour Metrology

Glass warp or contour measurement is critical:

• Measurement of panel warp to ensure that panel flatness is within specification for thin film deposition or concentrator mirrors. Warp measurements are typically taken at the beginning of the line (after washing), intermediate (after high temperature operation) and final assembly.
• Contour measurement for parabolic collectors. Measurement of collector profile or slump to ensure the rays from the collector are properly focused.
